What is a cell? What is the function of cells? How do cells benefit me? How do cells work?
A cell, the most simple form of life there, is living on planet earth. Cells were discovered by a English philosopher and monk named Robert Hooke who gave cells their name by studying slivers of cork under an ancient microscope. He gave the cells their name because their appearance reminded him of the cells that the monk colony lived in.

Cells are in every living organism there is and ever will be. Stating this, cells have a lot of different purposes. Cells provide the building blocks of matter while on the other hand they also help us humans by allowing us to have genetic offspring.
