2.2.1
Population Growth: Forest land lost over half the forest land has been lost due to the need over lumber and paper for the growing population there has also been a loss in fresh water because of the amount of growth in the human population.
Pollution: A spike in air pollution has come up since the 1920's this is believed to be the case of mainly car admissions. Water pollution has been a rising to due to agriculture runoff, mining activity's and improper waste disposable.
Habit destruction: A bulldozer pushing down trees is the iconic image of habitat destruction. Other ways that people are directly destroying habitat, include filling in wetlands, dredging rivers, mowing fields, and cutting down trees.
Global warming:Carbon dioxide and other global warming pollutants are collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up.
Economic ties: All of these things tie into the economics of the world such as cars and global warming the car industry makes billions of dollars each year making cars and could care less on how carbon dioxides are harming the world.

2.2.2
Protection and conservation or natural resources: The protection of natural resources by humans is helping to reverse the damage done. The plan is to restore forest lands and habitats.
Economic ties: Oil industry are working towards ways that can make for better and safer ways to extract oil without harming the environment which is creating more jobs for the world.
